Rouffiac Lake has been awarded the National Fishing Federation label. Do you like fishing with family or friends and enjoying moments of relaxation on quality sites? Choose the “Family” route. It offers practice conditions close to discovery trails (accessibility, comfort, safety, sanitary facilities) as well as a range of activities for families and groups: games for children, activities and leisure activities. Located between Angoisse and Payzac, the Rouffiac lake, with an area of 44 ha, offers great fishing thanks to a rich and varied fish population. You can find the following species: roach, pike, zander, black bass, perch. You must have your valid fishing license.
Please note, fishing for live bait, dead fish and lures is authorized from January 1 to the eve of the second Saturday in March inclusive and from the third Saturday in May to December 31 inclusive.
– The maximum number of rods authorized is 3 per fisherman.
– Catches are set at a maximum of 5kg per day and per fisherman.
– The quantity of groundbait used must not exceed 2kg.
Minimum catch sizes and opening dates:
– Pike: 80 cm (from 01/01 to the last Sunday in January and from the 3rd Saturday in May to 31/12).
– Zander: 50 cm (from 01/01 to the eve of the second Saturday in March and from the 3rd Saturday in May to 31/12).
– Pole: 20 cm.
– Black bass: mandatory return to water.
– 3 predators (pike, zander) including 2 pike maximum per day and per fisherman.
Fishing from boats (including float tubes) is authorized all year round. Thermal engines are prohibited. Use for priming or laying lines for remote-controlled boats or pedal boats is prohibited. Fishing from the dike is strictly prohibited for safety reasons.
