The lake of Rouffiac is one of the most recognized fishing sites in Dordogne. With its 44 hectares, tranquil banks and unspoilt environment, it attracts both enthusiasts and occasional fishermen. Labeled by the National Fishing Federation, the lake offers a setting to practice peacefully, just minutes from Angoisse and Payzac, in the heart of Périgord Vert.

Fishing can be practiced from several areas around the lake, easily accessible from the beach and trails. The positions are varied: edges, deeper areas, herbaria… enough to satisfy all techniques. Depending on the season, each fisherman can adapt his approach: white fish at the edge, predators in deep zones, poles around immersed trees.
